There are a lot of apps for managing tasks. Many of them are isolated to a single user or a single platform. Eventually you need to work with others on projects, even if just family members to manage chores. As you work with more people, it is unrealistic to expect all of them will work on the same brand of phone or desktop. Drindal keeps your data in sync across your team's different devices and platforms.
In their constant effort to justify high prices by giving ever growing feature lists to customers, many task management applications are losing sight of what they were created to do. A chef doesn't use a swiss army knife to cut anything. So many task management tools are becoming swiss army knifes of project management, communication apps, invoicing, business analyses, AI and walking your dog. And like swiss army knives, they aren't the best at any of those things. These long feature lists are used to justify a higher price even if you are actually paying for 1 feature you use amongst 100 features you don't.
Drindal is different. We're building Drindal to be the best at one thing... managing your tasks across your team members, whether that is for business or personal life. Other teams are building great solutions to other problems and we expect our customers to embrace the best tools for their jobs. Because Drindal is focused on being a specific tool, it's price is much lower than that of competitors, leaving you with budget to purchase the best tools for the other jobs too.
Life is complicated and Drindal makes it simpler by helping us see through all the noise and get to what actually matters now, while not losing those ideas we want to do in the long run.
In the early 20s I was trying to manage enterprise software and sales projects with giant customers in my day job, while building a manufacturing company as a side hustle, raising a family and remodeling my home at the same time. I had to use different tools for the jobs based on politics and budget. It was always frustrating to me how much available products wanted to charge me, or my company, for the features I needed. They were like cable tv companies trying to convince me $200/mo was worth it because I got 300 channels, even though I only wanted the 1 channel they stuck in the highest pay tier.
Enter Drindal... a simple price, no matter who you are. No free version because nothing is free, and a real app for all your platforms, that stays up to date automatically, so you don't need to open yet another browser tab.
Drindal is just getting started but moving quickly towards our goals and, even without our full feature set, it's already the most effective tool for many of us at a price that makes sense.
